In terms of skin rejuvenation, laser has long been proven. Unfortunately, there were only CO² laser, called ablative, to achieve treatments. With a high efficiency, it also has the defect of leaving marks on the face for at least 4 weeks after treatment. The time away from social activities being long, few people could afford the luxury of such treatment.

With the arrival of the laser FRAXEL™, other CO² fractional lasers appeared. Operating in the same way, they are equipped with a scanner that can treat a more specific area of the skin each time:
In comparison with classical CO², reduction of the quality of the final result is minimal, and recovery has greatly improved, therefore the time away from social activities is almost none or just 3 to 5 days maximum. Similarly, the pain is less and the processing time shorter: about 30 minutes.

The after-effects are very light with simple skin redness for 5 to 8 days. However, an after-care product must be applied every day (Avene Tolerance Extreme cream twice a day).
