The aim is to block or reduce muscle contraction using botulinum toxin. The use of toxin is safe and has been practised in therapy for over 30 years. Cosmetic use is restricted to trained medical doctors that can guarantee your safety.

This toxin is used to relieve muscle contraction in some areas in order to remove wrinkles. Proper injection technique reduces muscle contraction without blocking it completely, thereby resulting in a more rested, natural look, without the frozen facial expression.

To date, there are only 2 toxins used in France: Vistabel^® (or  Botox^TM) and Azzalure^® (or Dysport^TM). They are manufactured by two major laboratories that are guarantors of the industrial safety of this amazing product.

The contribution of these products to medicine and cosmetic surgery is extremely important. When in the right professional hands, they can treat effectively either by delaying ageing, or as a complement to cosmetic surgical procedures to give more natural results.



These injections are given in Dr Alfandari’s office under light anaesthetic using a special cream.

These treatments can be done during a working day and normal activities can be resumed immediately.

Important: During the first 24 hours, Dr Alfandari recommends that you do not practice any intense sporting activity and do not massage the injection area.
