Skin surgery or Dermato-plasty is the term used for surgical procedures that relate to the skin only.
There are 3 types of skin lesions:
Malignancies: these are the skin cancers that are varying in severity depending on their type (squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma).
The aim is to entirely remove the lesion, so even if you have chosen Dr. Alfandari because of his cosmetic surgery abilities and skills, his priority is to remove this lesion putting your safety first.
Suspicious lesions: they are generally treated with the same safety standards as malignant lesions. A pathological examination would be the only way of confirming the diagnosis.
Benign lesions: Some lesions such as "moles" or other benign skin lesions may sometimes need to be removed, either because they can become malignant or simply for cosmetic reasons. It is the same for the correction of unsightly scars.
